Where the bloody hell are ya?*

*from that Aussie Tourism Ad that was banned in England. Well I have been blummin' busy the past few weeks. I've had some awesome commissions to work on that I am still in the process of finalising. The first is a commission for the City of Sydney - this is the biggest commission I have ever worked on in terms of scale. I have illustrated a dragon and patterning that will be used across bus shelters and flag banners for the Chinese New Year celebrations in 2012. I am SUPER excited!
It's also coming to the close of 2011 - so I am busy working on a series of horoscopes for a magazine in Australia plus another Sunday Magazine that would like their star signs illustrated. So above are a couple of sneak peeks that I've been working on. In total there will be about 20 illustrations I will have completed in the space of 4 weeks - how crazy does that sound?! Well I hope you're all doing well and apologies I've been away for so long, or maybe no one has noticed? For daily updates join me on Instagram - username: deciphertheday

Hello! You're blog is so cool! I found it because you commented on my blog! :) (I did the DIY Flapper Dress post)... and speaking of that, I just wanted to give you heads up for when making it, allow room for it to be a tighter fit once the fringe is all sewn on... I forgot when I made mine that once the fringe is on then the dress won't stretch as much as it did before...I was lucky because I was just able to get it on without the original stretch of the dress! Anyway, good luck! And you have such an awesome blog! :)

@Julia Hi! Thanks for coming to visit me & thank you for the extra tips - I have a sewing machine but I'm still a beginner so I wouldn't have realised if you hadn't told me...would've been quite amusing. I'll let you know if I get around to making it! :-)
