Goodbye Oz - Hello England

I've had 'packing my backpack' on my to-do list for the past few days. Today I finally got around to doing the deed- all in all it took about 10 minutes and it probably only weighs a few kilos. I'm going nice and light as I will have a lot of walking/travelling to do since I live up North in England and I am flying into London to see a friend first. It feels good taking only a few possessions. Most importantly I will be packing my fountain pen, sketchbook and MacBook. I have an 8 hour stop over in Bangkok so I will be doodling non stop to keep myself awake.

These two illustrations are part of a larger project I am working on - I can't wait to tell you all what it is about! I hope you like them - I'm enjoying the symmetry in them. I'd like to say hello to all the new followers to my blog, you can also follow me on twitter - it's normally the odd tweet about a new drawing on the blog.

Well I suppose I will say Goodbye Oz for now .....and Hello England soon....x

p.s. this is the song that played whilst walking up the aisle at my wedding:

Haha but I guess they won't mistake you for being under 18 with that wedding ring on your finger
And thankyou so much! It means so much to me that you enjoy my blog, haha as you can see not many people do with my 6 followers! Well enjoy your trip, England sound lovely.

p.s. I really love the two illustrations in this post, can't wait to see the rest of this project

I'm absolutely loving your illustrations! Love your work dvrling. Do you draw with a pencil and then transfer it to digital?

Food porn!! NOMS!

I was stopping by cause I noticed you commented on Nicole of Gary Pepper Vintage's post "Bohemian Child" and just thought I'd mention I made a DIY rose garland inspired by her.
